Every Sunday – Free Museum Day!

Based on 5 ratings

Picasso Museum

For those who are culturally challenged, or on a budget, Sundays are a blessing. In the past, a limited selection of museums was free on the first Sunday of the month. Now, so as not to discriminate against the other Sundays, they have expanded the offer to all Sundays. It’s also a good thing if you’re culturally challenged and don’t want to spend too much time in a museum. No guilty conscience either if you prefer to go out and back into the sun, that is also free!

It’s the perfect time to visit the Picasso Museum or the Textile Museum (both in carrer Montcada), or to go to the Botanical gardens if the weather is nice! You can also go to Frederic Mares’ Museum with its amazingly beautiful courtyard!

There are quite a few different museums available and you can find more information here. The main attractions would be the Picasso Museum, The Botanical Gardens, The Monastery of Pedralbes and Frederic Mares’ Museum.
