The Aquàrium of Barcelona is a category reference in the world. It has 35 fish tanks and an ‘Oceanari’, a huge aquarium with a 80 metres glass tunnel, unique in Europe, through which visitors can walk and admire the fish. The Aquàrium houses over 11,000 animal species and more than 450 plant species. In a total of 6 million litres of water you will be able to discover the immensity of the aquatic world, particularly Mediterranean and Tropical ecosystems. Moreover, for those who hold a diving license there is the option of booking a dive among sharks.

Besides being a fantastic opportunity to admire the fish tanks, the entertainment variety is quite significant. The youngest ones in the family will enjoy the many programmed activities which taken place throughout the day, and which include drawing events, competitions and a questions and answers game, which can be played individually or in a group.

The Aquàrium also allows the option of booking a few spaces for groups (schools, excursion groups, company events): the auditorium, which can hold 168 people; the Planeta Aqua room, with seats for 200 diners and the panoramic terrace, where you can organise an exclusive cocktail session for 400 people.
